We or the Internet don’t know much about Baauer but we want to. What we do know : He has thirteen tracks on Soundcloud, we like them all and you can’t download any of them because he hasn’t upgraded his account. Many of his tracks give off a light fun vibe, like something you would play on a quiet sunny day but at the same time they carry a darkness to them, like a depressed happy person.

We know he ‘s from Brooklyn although his Facebook page says he’s from the Internet.

His track have apparently made it on to Diplo’s BBC mixes so hopefully we start hearing more from the 22 year old. Maybe a $5 Bancamp Ep. For now stream the two tracks below and spend some time on his Souncloud account you won’t be disappointed.

2012 has been slow for us at DLLD but we are back and inspired to bring you new music, this one comes with a little extra inspiration through a high school connection, more about that later. We came across Mirror Lady back in December shortly after their ‘Spider Woman’ and ‘Roman Candles’ release (constant rotation). 10 days ago they released ‘You Left Me’ which is available to download on soundcloud and their Website. The track carries what appears to soon become a “Mirror Lady” sound wich embodies deep emotion with a light California tone that for some reason takes us to the beach every time. As we revisited Mirror Lady today we watched the video to Roman candles and I’m 99.7% sure that the opening clip was shot in my old high school, back in the 90′s before I attended. Very cool and if Mirror lady reads this we would love to know where the footage came from . Video after the jump.

The French clothing label BWGH (Brooklyn We Go Hard) release a sequel to the video Your Girl CAN Wear It Too, released earlier this year. The sequel is named Your Ex Will Keep It (UXWKI) a look at what will happen to your clothes if you leave it at your ex’s after breaking up. Apparently if you have a hot girlfriend she can probably wear all your clothes “Boyfriend Style” witch means you probably will never see it again — so remember, grab your duffle before breaking up or getting her super mad that she’ll cuss you out in French and lock you out.
